MDC Alliance Spokesperson, Fadzai Mahere will remain in custody till Friday 15 January.
This comes after the hearing done today.
The MDC Alliance confirmed the news on social media saying:
MDC Alliance National Spokesperson has been remanded in custody to Friday 15 January 2021.
Mahere was arrested this Sunday. She is facing charges of publicising falsehoods, charges similar with those of political activist, Hopewell Chinono and Job Sikhala.
They are charged for allegedly publishing falsehoods on their Twitter handles that a police officer hit and killed an infant with a baton stick.
