Popular award winning journalist, Hopewell Chin’ono, has fallen out with Nelson Chamisa’s followers after calling them bootlickers.
Chin’ono has not been spared insults and accusations of being a Mnangagwa agent,and had to block a number of prominent MDC youth leaders from his Twitter account.
The latest fight between Chin’ono and Chamisa bootlickers comes after he criticised Chamisa’s decision to appoint Welshman Ncube into the foreign affairs portfolio and Tendai Biti in the Policy and Admin portfolio.
Obey Sithole, the MDC Alliance youth leader, came out guns blazing and wrote:
Chamisa ‘s followers are known for not taking any criticism of their leader, whom they follow blindly, without offering any constructive advice.
Hopewell Chinóno is finding out the difficult way that Chamisa is to be worshipped and any attempt to publicly offer constructive criticism will result in a backlash.
Attempts by David Coltart to intervene were met with further Insults, with Coltart being called a selous scout and a dog.
