Ideal Zimbabwe President, Tinashe Jonas, says Brand Zimbabwe has been damaged because there has been too much focus on politics and not on business.

Jonas said Zimbabwe is free and self governing and took charge of the land which was the driving force behind the war of liberation.

However, Jonas said the late heroes of Zimbabwe will be unhappy about the current situation in Zimbabwe because being a war veteran is now used for corrupt purposes.

On the collapse of infrastructure and unemployment, Jonas said after the war, the new administration was made up of inexperienced guerrillas who only had the skills to retain power.

Jonas said there is now a need for a paradigm shift from being fighters to being builders.

The new leaders must focus on development and not on power games.

Jonas said young people should have hope. He said it is the responsibility of ZANU PF to have a big tent in which everyone is welcome. Jonas says ZANU-PF must allow for young people who are ambitious who also aspire to be leaders.

ZANU-PF must not kill ambition. Jonas said Zimbabwe should craft laws that govern the security sector and CIOs and police to make them leave day to day running of the country to civilians.

Jonas said the government of ED Mnangagwa should prioritize the promotion of the image of the country.
