Movement for Democratic Change Alliance Spokesperson Fadzayi Mahere says Nelson Chamisa is in full solidarity with Job Sikhala and the 31 July national protest.
Fadzayi said people are peddling fake news about Chamisa rejecting Job Sikhala July 31 Demo Support.
This comes after a press statement circulated on social media alleging that the alliance has distanced itself from the 31 July protest and Sikhala whose personal opinions do not represent the party.
Sikhala allegedly went into hiding soon after the arrest of July 31 protests organiser and opposition Transform Zimbabwe leader Jacob Ngarivhume as well as journalist Hopewell Chin’ono for allegedly inciting violence ahead of the protests.
