There was chaos at Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University after a communique was issued out ordering students to leave the campus by 24th of July afternoon following Emmerson Mnangagwa’s new lockdown regulations.

In the letter to the University, students were told that eximinations will be written early August next semester.

However, within a week another letter was issued ordering students to return and write exams canceling the prior arrangement.

Students have criticised the University for creating confusion citing that they had already incurred costs to leave the campus and now they are expected to return again.
