Zimbabwean Politician Jacob Ngarivhume says that the 31st July protest are not to demand Mnangagwa to step down but to address issues of corruption that have been rampant in Zimbabwe.

Ngarivhume said that as politicians, they have drawn the plan for the 31st protest from previous protests in terms of their successes and failures as well and this will make the coming protest more effective.

He said that the planned mass protest, Will see people marching from their locations and converge at a certain point in main cities and so far he is happy with the current traffic of people driving forward the protest on and offline.

To protect each citizen, Ngarivhume encouraged Zimbabweans to come out in large numbers with face masks on and practice social distancing.

Ngarivhume said that this protest will see Zimbabweans bringing out their discontent over the continued corruption issues that have greatly affected the Zimbabwean economy.

He said that the protest is mainly driven by the fact that even the president himself talks about corruption but never addresses it.
