Acting MDC T President Thokozani Khupe on Saturday visited the late Morgan Tsvangirai’s grave to ask his spirit to lead her in the political journey she and her team are embarking on.
She asked Tsvangirai to lead them win all the cases they are fighting against Nelson Chamisa as they take the party forward.
“We are going to work together. We will remain united and solid like a rock and we would like to promise you that we will not let you down”, she said.
During Dr Tsvangirai’s funeral In 2018, some rowdy youths vandalized Gogo Tsvangirai’s maize crop, carried posters portraying Gogo Tsvangirai as a monkey and threw a rope to her to “hang” herself. They also assaulted Tsvangirai’s young brother Collins.
Khuphe said she is committed to take care of Gogo Tsvangirai and the whole family till the end of time.
Khupe said: “I and my colleagues are here to show our commitment of taking the party forward”.
Meanwhile, the stunt by Khupe has been criticised and condemned by many.
