A Zanu Pf apologist handle has made the claim that the finance minister is winning the war though he is losing the battle.
By this, he means that Mthuli Ncube may come across hiccups but his plan is going to succeed overally. Just like the Zimbabwean guerrillas would be defeated at some battles but overally won the independence, Mthuli is going to do the same.
Citing of the success of Mthuli, the apologist claimed that there is a $600 million decline in domestic debt due to surplus, 2019 trade deficit excepted to be $0.23 billion, budget deficit projected to be 4% inline with TSP and SMP.
Mthuli Ncube has been accused of his austerity for prosperity measures which are doing nothing but hurting the ordinary citizen.
