Fanuel Ngirandi,a suspected robber was allegedly caught sleeping in a stolen car in Overspill,Epworth.
He appeared before Harare Magistrate Learnmore Mapiye on charges of unlawful entry and he was denied bail.
It is alleged that on the 2nd of September,the complainant was asleep at his house when he was disturbed by an unusual noise at 1 am.
The accused and his accomplices had forced entry into their house and stolen several goods.
After the ordeal they tied the whole family inside the house and the other accomplices to the accused fled leaving the accused behind in the vehicle.
The complainant managed to untie himself and the family members.He then proceeded to Epworth police station to file a report.
Upon completion,they returned to the scene of the crime and they found the accused asleep in the vehicle.He appeared very drunk and disoriented.
