CCC President, Nelson Chamisa, has revealed why he fired spokesperson, Fadzayi Mahere and replaced her with Promise Mkwananzi.

Newsday sources revealed that Chamisa met with various stakeholders at the house of Jameson Timba in Winstone Park on July 30, where he revealed that he was exhausted and had at one point considered quitting the 2023 Presidential campaign.

Chamisa told the secret gathering made up of church leaders, residents and CCC leaders that he was alone in the fight for the new Zimbabwe as his closest allies were cowards and did not want to lead from the front.

Chamisa told the meeting that he was having problems with his information team as Mahere was disorganised and often issued press statements without clearing them with him.
