Citizens Coalition for Change has introduced their Bulawayo Mayor.
The party said they are thrilled to announce David Coltart, a distinguished change champion born in Gweru and raised in Bulawayo at CBC, as our esteemed Mayor. With a law degree from UCT and a successful career at Webb, Low & Barry, he has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to justice and service.
Coltart is a visionary leader who founded the Bulawayo Legal Projects Center in 1986, advocating for the rights of the community. His political journey began as an elected MP for MDC in 2000 and 2005, followed by his Senate election in 2008. As Minister of Education, Sport, Arts, & Culture from 2009 to 2013, he left an indelible mark on our nation’s growth.
In 2019, he was elected as the Treasury General for MDC Alliance, David’s exceptional leadership qualities have resonated with our citizens. Now, we proudly proclaim him as the elected Mayor of Bulawayo.
Let’s unite under his guidance and work together towards a prosperous and inclusive future for our beloved city of KINGS AND QUEENS.
