Zambian president Hakainde Hichilema has announced that Defence and Security will deploy an Election Observer Mission (SEOM) to the Republic of Zimbabwe from 17th to August 31st 2023.
He said they have nominated former Vice President Dr. Never Sekwila Mumbai as the Head of the SADC Electoral Observer Mission to Zimbabwe.
He added that ten appointment of Dr Sekwila showcases the confidence of the Zambian people, reflecting his extensive experience in various senior roles he has held in the past.
