It has been revealed that the president of Liberia George Weah has spoke against issues of Coup and military intervention by ECOWAS.
He said as long as ECOWAS tolerates institutional coups that allow lifetime presidents, and fraudulent declaration of election results, manipulation of judicial announcements, there will always be military coups.
Weah added that they cannot condemn military coups when they do not condemn those who carry out institutional coups.
He also emphasized that ECOWAS should work for the interest of their people.
