Ezra Tshisa Sibanda reports that a family is appealing for US$3000 to help repatriate the body of the late Thembelani Mpofu who died on the 9th of July 2023 in Dubai.
Thembelani reportedly succumbed to heart failure. He was aged 35.
Mpofu was no longer employed and had no funeral policy in both Dubai and Zimbabwe.
The family of the deceased is appealing for financial assistance to pay for the embalming of his body and repatriation to Zimbabwe and money for the local funeral parlour to receive the body at Harare Airport.
The family wants to lay their son at their rural home in Nyamandlovu.
Meanwhile, they have managed to raise enough money to pay the airline.
