Former Zimbabwean Deputy Prime Minister, Professor Arthur Mutambara says the Government of National Unity is problematic.

Speaking inan interview with Trevor Ncube, Mutambara said by their very nature coalition governments are never the best way to run a country.

He said the 2008 GNU delivered zero political reforms because with a team of rivals everything requires an agreement.

The GNU came on the back of a chaotic 2008 election which was characterised by violence and allegations of vote rigging by Zanu PF.
