President Emmerson Mnangagwa has declared a State of Disaster for Harare Metropolitan Province, following the deplorable state of cleanliness in the province.
The Province is characterised among other things by litter and waste dumps accumulating in business and residential areas, open burning of garbage.
The Environmental Management Agency (EMA) has been tasked with coordinating the removal of waste dumps that have been accumulating in business and residential areas in the province.
