Norton Legislator Themba Mliswa has spoken against characters like Phillip Chiyangwa who contest for MP positions but do nothing to raise issues of their constituencies.
Thus is what he tweeted below:
“Characters like Phillip Chiyangwa should just stop this charade of being MPs. Why do you contest and fail to contribute anything in Parliament for 5 years?
A legislator is supposed to be a representative advancing the people’s cause. Now if he can’t debate in 5 whole years of what use is he? Seriously you can’t just vote for a person because of his party and yet he has no use for you except bribing you through motorbikes!”
