The Citizens Coalition for Change will not hold primary elections to choose candidates for next year’s election but will choose candidates through a consultative process.

This decision is not going down well with ZANU-PF who are demanding that the opposition party must create structures, go for congress, and reveal its constitution.

Failure to do this the opposition party should be barred from contesting in the general elections.

However, CCC said they won’t impose candidates on the people, saying candidates will be selected by local people in that constituency or ward.
