Local community cooperative killed after collecting subscriptions

A 59 year old horticulture farmer and treasurer at a local community cooperative was killed on Saturday 25 September.

The deceased identified as Jane Chauke was totured by fire and killed at her homestead in Beitbridge.

Sources say that the unknown assailants who are yet to be arrested were probably looking for R31000 that Chauke collected from community based savings.

The police are still investigating the murder of the deceased.
