CCC Secretary General Chalton Hwende is under massive attack for claiming that only political engagement and mass action will lead to the release of Job Sikhala, and Godfrey Sithole.
Hwende said if necessary action is not taken, the political prisoners will not be released soon adding that some might even die in jail.
“The situation of our MPs Hon Job Sikhala &Godfrey Sithole plus the Nyatsime Cdes is very depressing. If we don’t act these Cdes will not be released soon and some might even die in detention. Political Prisoners requires either Mass Action or Political Engagement to be released”, he wrote.
Political analyst Pedzisayi Ruhanya said Hwende is now crossing the line after suggesting that political engagement is the only solution.
Some people sugggested that Hwende is always offside adding that he destroying CCC’s political image.
