The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA ) has appointed Regina Chinamasa as the commissioner-general of the tax authority with effect from 1 September 2022.
Chinamasa who has been acting commissioner-general from February 1 was taking over from Rameck Masaire who retired.
A ZIMRA board meeting was held this Thursday where it emerged that the government had approved Chinamasa’s appointment.
Regina is a tax expert with over 28 years of experience in the field of revenue mobilization customs, domestic taxes and enforcement of compliance of fiscal laws.
