Kobe Bryant’s widow Vanessa has been awarded $16 million in damages in her lawsuit against Los Angeles County.
Vanessa sued the LA County over leaked photos of human remains from the helicopter crash that killed her husband and daughter, Gianna, along with seven others.
The jurors agreed with Vanessa Bryant and her attorneys that deputies and firefighters who took and shared photos of the remains of Bryant and their 13-year-old daughter, invaded her privacy and caused her emotional distress.
Meanwhile, she posted a photo of herself with her husband and their daughter on social media shortly after the verdict, writing: “All for you! I love you! JUSTICE for Kobe and Gigi!”
