Popular award winning Zimbabwean journalist, Hopewell Chin’ono, has been slammed by angry CCC youth leaders after he called Chamisa’s election strategy weak and and ineffective.
This follows the loss of Kenyan Presidential candidate, Raila Odinga to Dr William Ruto this week.
Chin’ono wrote on Facebook that Chamisa’s current strategy will result in defeat as not enough is being done to register voters in urban areas.
During the subsequent heated debate, Chin’ono angered CCC youth leaders who started calling the popular journalist a menace.
Writing on his Facebook wall, Godfrey Kurauone said Chin’ono must not assume that when people close to Chamisa express their opinions, they speak for Chamisa.
Other youth leaders joined in the free for all bashing, with Obey Sithole saying Chin’ono does not want to engage in any civilized debate, instead, he behaves like an emotional chief in a village. .
Other youths leaders continued to join in, including the man who slapped Dr Thokozani Khupe, Shelton Tapiwa Chiyangwa, who said Chin’ono has the tendency to block people on social media whenever someone does not agree with him.
