Norton legislature Temba Mliswa says President Emerson Mnangagwa should retire the Zimbabwe Defence Forces Commander, Philip Valerio Sibanda and appoint him as the Vice President.
Valerio will be replacing Mohadi who resigned in the wake of a string of alleged affairs with married security personnel.
Hon Ndebele raised in Parliament the issue of the vacant Vice President seat.
He said: “Isn’t this a disenfranchising of representation for the people of Matebeleland. The Unity Accord is clear about this position. Are there no candidates or what? Retire General PV Sibanda & make him VP!”
Sibanda ,who took over from retired general Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga after the November 2017 coup is belived to be closely linked to Mnangagwa.
