Zimpapers owned television channel, ZTN Prime launched on DSTV yesterday at Newlands shopping centre.
The channel will be available on DStv Channel 294 from 24 May on DStv Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Access and Lite packages.
Addressing the nation yesterday, Information minister Monica Mutsvangwa said President Emmerson Mnangagwa is a reformist changing Zimbabwe’s future.
She tasked ZTN to tell the authentic Zimbabwean story and chart a new chapter of digital broadcasting.
Permanent Secretary of Information Nick Mangwana addd that the launch shows that media reform is real in Zimbabwe.
“Media Reform is real in Zimbabwe. @ZTNnews is being officially launched tonight. Everywhere Community Stations are up and running. We are grateful to @UNESCO for the support in our efforts.”
