The US Embassy has denied offering LEAD founder Linda Masarira USD1 million following her arrest in 2016.
In a statement on Twitter, the embassy said Linda gave false statements on social media about the International Women of Courage Award and the one million offer.
The embassy said four fearless Zimbabwean women have received this prestigious award however, Linda is not part of them.
Linda claimed that they offered her cockatails and money back in 2016 to buy her.
She said: “Congratulations for sweeping emails you sent. Just when I was about to screenshot them to prove that you are bloody liars, the emails have disappeared.”
Linda has vowed to expose all the sheninagans done by the embassy.
