The Zimbabwe Music Rights Association (Zimura) appointed new board members during its elective Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Harare.
The new board members are Albert Nyathi, Janet Manyowa, First Farai, Philip Chipfumbu, Alexio Gwenzi aka Good Child (GC) and Mudiwa Hood.
The association also revealed that at least ZWL$89 million will be distributed among musicians.
The top earning artist will get ZWL$700 000 while on average the artists in top 20 will get between ZWL$100 000 to ZWL$200 000 in royalties payout.
