Zambian President, Hakainde Hichilema has announced the visit of DRC President, Félix Tshisekedi, who will be arrining today.
Writing on Facebook, Hichilema said:
We are looking forward to welcoming His Excellency Félix Tshisekedi Tshilombo, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for an official visit to Zambia tomorrow, 29th April 2022.
This visit comes as a result of our ongoing discussions since our trip to DRC in November 2021 and will build on a long history of warm relations between our two countries. It also represents an important part of our New Dawn Government’s approach to partnership and collaboration, with particular emphasis on the importance of regional partners in delivering security and economic prosperity that benefits the citizens of both our nations.
