Newly elected Zambian President, Hakainde Hichilema, is today launching an ambitious plan to create more jobs with Zambian industry. The dialogue will be held at Mulungushi International Conference Centre at 09:00 this morning.

Writing on Facebook, Hichilema said:

Ministry by Ministry. Sector by Sector. We will remove barriers to job creation.
We will increase opportunities for our citizens and reject corruption.

Yes, we have created over 40,000 jobs in our first 8 months in office but the private sector has unlimited potential to create jobs if we can level the playing field and ensure that Government, Business and Cooperating Partners work together.

We look forward to the launch of the Public Private Dialogue Forum at Mulungushi International Conference Centre. Building bridges between Government and the private sector is how we will create a pathway to foster prosperity for all.

Hakainde Hichilema
President of the Republic of Zambia
