Zimbabweans based in Western Cape (South Africa) have been heavily attacked by a group of angry South Africans.
According to multiple award winning Zimbabwean journalist, Hopewell Chinono, the Zimbabweans were attacked earlier today.
“Zimbabweans in Robertson (Western Cape) in South Africa are being attacked and are under siege from a group of South Africans accusing them of taking “their” jobs.
There has been an increasing anti-foreigner feeling which is also being fueled by organized groups in South Africa,” he posted.
The latest attack comes days after the operation dudula clashed with Zimbabweans and other foreigners in Alexander.
The attack also comes days after hundreds of illegal foreigners were arrested at the Pan Africa mall in Alexander.
