A Zimbabwean man, Calvin Munhuweyi Nyevera, is reported to have committed suicide only two months after arriving in the UK from South Africa.
According to a note on a GoFundMe campaign that was started to raise funds for Nyevera:
A very tragic loss in the UK Zimbabwean community. Calvin Tapiwanashe Munhuweyi-Nyevera only 32 years old had barely settled in UK after arriving just 3 months ago.
Calvin was found dead in the house in Richmond London on 08/03/2022. Calvin was NOT yet working as he had just come into UK and his parents are in Zimbabwe and financially incapacitated.
Calvin’s parents desperately want to have their son back in Zimbabwe for burial and final closure.
