Zimbabwean international footballer Elisha Muroiwa has quit football.

Muroiwa made the announcement on his Twitter page today.

“Today I say goodbye to professional football, it wasn’t easy for me, it is the most painful decision I had to make but for the sake of my healthy, I had to stop. In good and bad times, football was my life.”

He said he is quitting because of health related issues

Muroiwa has played for Harare Sporting, Highfield United and Dynamos.

Dynamos FC thanked Elisha Muroiwa for his services.

“Thank you for your services Lishoo once a Glamour Boy always oneđź’™”.

Muroiwa made his international debut in 2016, and was named in the squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

Elisha born 28 January 1989 played for Mufulira Wanderers as a right back.
