The Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) has finally granted Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) athlete Themba Gorimbo permission to use Zimbabwe national colours on his fight gear.
This comes after Gorimbo slammed Minister Kirsty Coventry for not approving his request.
In a statement, the SRC informed Themba Gorimbo that his request to wear national colours when representing Zimbabwe during Mixed Martial Arts competitions and related events has been approved.
They further stressed that any change to the kit would require approval first.
