Zimbabweans based in the Republic of South Africa are reportedly worsening the unemployment rate for South African citizens.

South Africa’s President, Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa has been urged to deport Zimbabweans and other foreigners based in South Africa.

The South Africans are saying that their health facilities, schools and workplace are full because of Zimbabweans based in South Africa.

This move to deport Zimbabweans comes weeks after the South African government agreed not to renew ZEP permits for Zimbabweans.

The government gave Zimbabweans a grace period of 12 months meaning that if the 12 months lapses, thousands will be deported.
