Neville Mutsvangwa, son to ZANU-PF spokesperson Christopher Mutsvangwa and Women Affairs Minister Monica Mutsvangwa has been denied bail following his arrest on the charges of money laundering and possession of a Starlink router.

Mutsvangwa and his co-accused  Elis Majachani and Simbarashe Tichingana appeared before the Harare Magistrate Dennis Mangosi on Monday and were remanded in custody until May 30.

The trio were denied bail on the grounds that they are a flight risk and might abscond following the difficulties that the police had in trying to arrest them.

Mangosi also pointed out that the accused persons are well connected and have the means to live in exile.

Mutsvangwa was found in possession of 28 Visa cards, which he allegedly used for international money transfers through his unregistered entity, Mumba Money Transfers.
