1. Fadzayi Mahere declared that Chamisa’s party will contest the elections as the MDC Alliance, the same name being used by Douglas Mwonzora.
2. The MDC Zimbabwe wrote to ZEC and declared that they will be contesting the by-elections elections.
3 ZEC issued a statement and advised parties that registrations will be on a first come first served basis.
On the other hand:
A large number of Douglas Mwonzora ‘s MDC Alliance MPs have already filed their nomination forms.
Chamisa has not yet identified MPs and councilors.
