Two bodies believed to be that of police officials stationed at the Mareetsane, South African Police station were found burned in the back of the police bakkie they had been driving.
The charred bodies were found in a rural agricultural area close to Ganyesa.
According to multiple reports the two police officers were reported to be missing yesterday.
It is believed that the two members of SAPS were on patrol when they were killed.
However, the bodies will be taken for tests for identification.
