The government of Zimbabwe has secured 2 million of Sinovac vaccine from the Republic of China.
The consignment of 2 million Sinovac vaccines bought by government from China arrived at the Robert Mugabe International Airport yesterday.
The consignment was received by Mthuli Ncube, the Deputy Minister of Health and Childcare Dr Mangwiro and other government officials.
However, yesterday the country received 500 0000 vaccines and the government is expected to receive the remaining 1.5 million doses next Thursday.
Addressing the members of the media fraternity, Mthuli Ncube also revealed that the government is set to receive another 2 million doses.
Universities and Colleges are set to be used as vaccination centres.
