Former South African President Jacob Zuma is expected to serve his sentence at the Westville Correctional Centre in Durban.

The Constitutional Court commanded the head of that facility to receive Zuma into custody and deal with him in accordance with the law relating to prisons.

On Tuesday the Pietermaritzburg High Court reserved judgement on Zuma’s contempt case.

The court is expected to hand down its ruling on July 9.

The court will decide whether to approve Zuma’s request to have his surrender or arrest put on hold.

If Msholozi fails to convince the courts, the South African Republic Police (SAPS) will have to arrest him and throw him to Westville Correctional Prison in Durban.
