A Harare woman, Tafadzwa Adonai, has described how she recently got hijacked in Malbereign as she was approaching her home.
Tafadzwa said an unknown car bumped hers from the back right side. When she got out to check, one of the men in the car got out apologizing.
While she was talking to him, he slapped her on the cheek and drove off in her car. The other car had blocked hers from the front.
Tafadzwa went to Kuwadzana police station where she made a police report.
On the next day, police called her and said they had found her car dumped on the side of a road in the same suburb.
Tafadzwa thanked the police and warned other motorists to be alert even during the lockdown.
