Popular golfer, Tiger Woods (45), was today involved in a serious single vehicle accident while driving his SUV in California.
Woods was reportedly driving from a venue where he was holding a golfing tournament for celebrities.
Woods’s SUV crossed the center barrier of the freeway and there was no sign that Woods attempted to brake before the crash.
Woods’ is reported to have fractured his leg in multiple places after his vehicle rolled and came to rest at the bottom is an embarkment.
Woods was taken out by rescuers using the jaws of life.
The accident will be a big blow to Woods who recently recovered from a back operation. He is unlikely to return to Golf after the accident due to his existing and new injuries.
