The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Nick Mangwana says health workers will be screening travellers on road blocks.
In a tweet posted on social media Mangwana said this is a measure done by the government in a bid to minimise the spread of the virus.
Mangwana said the screenings will be done alongside checks that are done by the police.
He posted:
One of the meaures Govt has started implementing with immediate effect, is the deployment of health workers at some checkpoints. They will be conducting Covid19 screening on travellers alongside the checks done by the police.
