MDC T National Chairperson Morgen Komichi has declared that he is ready to lead the party’s presidency.
MDC-T is set to hold its Extra-Ordinary Congress this Saturday and is expecting 3 000 delegates drawn from across the country.
Posting on twitter Komichi said he is committed to revive MDC T.
“I am ready and committed to revive MDCT party” adding that he will “restore the Legacy of President Dr Richard Morgan Tsvangirai”.
The Supreme Court ruling in March ordered a fresh congress to replace the late leader, Morgan Tsvangirai.
Four candidates, Dr Thokozani Khupe, Senators Morgan Komichi, Elias Mudzuri and Douglas Mwonzora are eyeing the presidency.
