Bushiri’s former manager, Alex Apong, has revealed that former SA president Jacob Zuma was paid R4 Million by Bushiri for protection.
In a video circulating on social media, Apong claims that after the prophet was accused of tax invasion sometime back and Fikile Mbalula wanted him arrested, Bushiri paid R4 million to the former president so that no one should bother him.
“He told me the police wants to arrest him and the president is his son . Earlier he used to give the president R4 million so that no one should come and worry him,” said Apong.
Adding on he further revealed how large sums of money obtained from selling anointed items are given to the prophet weekly.
He said he gave the prophet the money in cash not through depositing it into his account.
Bushiri and his wife Marry last month fled to Malawi while out on bail facing charges of money laundering, fraud and r_ape.
