Permanent Secretary of Information Nick Mangwana says Emmerson Mnangagwa has made a number of achievements in his two years as President.

Mangwana said Zimbabwe under Mnangagwa turned national budget deficit into a cumulative surplus of $1.2billion of which the benefits of the surplus are subsidies to the general citizenry.

He added that roller meal is being sold at $75 instead of the market price of $400, ZUPCO fares are 20% of private market, citizens get uninterrupted electricity supplies, rehabilitated urban rural roads, educated vulnerable childer under the Basic Education Assistance Module.

Today marks the 2nd anniversary of Mnangagwa since his swearing in after the 2018 elections.

Mangwana said the government re-introduced the Zimbabwean dollar which has boosted exports and created jobs, us$3.5 billion fund to compensate former white farmers, reduced the public wage bill from 92% to 50%, Zim now number 3 on Africa’s transparency list, Zimbabwe is on top five doing business reformer list, Repealed draconian laws AIPPA and POSA
