Business mogul Kuda Tagwirei says he advised Emmerson Mnangagwa not to arrest former Energy Minister Fortune Chasi.
In a secret recording that has surfaced, Tagwirei told Temba Mliswa that Mnangagwa was very unsettled with Chasi hence he fired him and appointed Soda Zhemu who has no known history of fully supporting the ruling party.
Temba Mliswa said Mnangagwa should have appointed Kazembe Kazembe for Minister of Energy over Soda Zhemu.
He added that Mnangagwa is very different from the late former President Robert Mugabe because Mugabe appointed people who he knew would support him anytime.
Tagwirei and Mliswa expressed their disgust towards Mnangagwa’s failure to enforce key objectives that will help him stay in power.
