India has recorded over 52,000 cases in the past 24 hours, taking its total number of Covid-19-positive cases to 1,584,384.
This is the first time that more than 50 000 cases have been recorded in India in a day and in the last 3 days Covid 19 has claimed more than 700 lives.
Even though there is high number of infected cases, India has seen many other people recover from the pandemic.
There have been a lot of questions around India’s Covid-19 death figures, and it has been said that they are probably being underreported.
