The Supreme court appeal by Rev Cossam Chiyangwa, the non reform Faction of the AFM in Zimbabwe, has been set aside for the 5th of June 2020.

Rev Chiyangwa filed a Supreme Court appeal challenging the ruling handed down by the High Court in favour of his rival Reverend Amon Madawo who is backed by former president Aspher Madziyire.

Rev Madawo’s faction of reformers had filed an application seeking to execute the High Court ruling pending the hearing at the Supreme Court of appeal.

Both factions have set aside dates for Prayer and fasting. The Reform side will pray and fast from 18 to 24 May while the Non reform side will pray and fast from 24 – 31 May.
