The Interpol has refused to cooperate with the Zimbabwe Republic Police in hunting and bringing back exiled politicians to Zimbabwe (particularly the G40 crew).
This was disclosed by the Police Commissioner-General Godwin Matanga today during the Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee hearing.
Interpol refused to cooperate because it believes that the allegations are political persecution rather than national crimes.

The G40 kingpins which include Professor Jonathan Moyo, Mandi Chimene and Patrick Zhuwao fled into exile when ED Mnangagwa took over as President from the late Robert Mugabe.

The G40 crew members were targeted as criminals surrounding the President.
