Self exiled Prof Jonathan Moyo claims to have received a report from the deep state saying that a massive crack down by police with embedded army units is set for Harare today to preempt the “anticipated protests”.
This follows after 251 old police and municipal helmets were found in the capital near the MDC headquarters with police claiming in their statement that the state had alleged an existence of a “third force ” that perpetrates violence to tarnish the image of the government.
A number of protesting organizations are set to demonstrate against the Zanu Pf government for the continued economic failure, incapacitating them to fulfil their duties.
Prof Moyo urged Zimbabweans to be careful and conscious of this development as the government is trying to intimidate them.
“The objective is to show force to instill fear given rising tensions. Take care vanhu vaMwari in Harare tomorrow” he said.
However, previous reports show the brutality of the Emmerson Mnangagwa led government towards protesters with reference to the 1 August 2018 and 14-28 January 2019 events which show army and police atrocities.
